Essay-Company.com provides solely academic writing services, including a wide range of products that its lists individually. These include all of the normal products – essays, papers, case studies, lab reports, reviews and analyses, along with application and scholarship essays. It also offers homework help, editing, and resume writing. On its “About Us” page, the most common products are listed, and a visitor can click on them to get more detailed information. We clicked the “dissertation” link and were disappointed not to find much detail but lots of grammatical issues with the text on the page.
The other pages of this website sport very tiny print and walls of text that say very little that is unique. Some of the statements do not make much sense and are poorly written. The following sentence is just one example: “Choice being so multifold because of too many options is likely to make you lost instead of welcomed.”
The company provides a customer support department which we contacted on two occasions, as we asked questions about the products and services. We spoke to an obvious foreigner on the phone who was unable to answer questions about dissertations, but who did tell us we could have one in 7 days. This is virtually impossible.
Visitors are also told that all writers have Master’s and Ph.D. degrees.
Pricing System and Discounts
Essay-Company prices range from $11.30/page for a “high school” piece up to $44.95/page for graduate-level work. These are pretty standard for the industry. There is separate pricing for “college” and “undergraduate” categories, but no customer service agent could define those for us.
Relative to Essay-Company discounts, there is a program but it is not described on the site. If customers subscribe to emails, they will receive Essay-Company promo codes for special pricing. We asked about a discount on live chat and were given a coupon code for 10% off.

Writer Expertise and Delivery
Here is where the “rubber meets the road,” and there are a lot of skid marks. To determine writer expertise, we have to look at the quality of what they produce.
First, we looked at sample writing on the website. We reviewed a research paper on “TV and Violence.” There was no thesis statement. Further, the resources were all secondary. There are so many great recent research studies on this topic, we were disappointed to see none of them used.
The other sample we reviewed was a classification essay on “Safe and Unsafe Drivers.” For a college-level paper, it was far too simplistic and provided no new information. Again, there was no thesis statement and no conclusion at all.

We find this hard to believe, given their pricing. And it is doubtful that any English expert proofreads and corrects the obvious grammatical errors.
