This company is focused on academic products and services and offers those to students at all levels of study. It does seem to focus more on college and graduate levels. Products include the common essay and paper assignments, of course, but also include such things as analyses and reviews, case studies, lab reports, homework help, admissions and scholarship essays, test-taking, and graduate theses and dissertations. Rounding off this comprehensive list is editing and proofreading.
In short, students can find any type of product, and, according the company, in every possible topic field.
PRICING SYSTEM AND DISCOUNTS
WiseEssays prices are low-average for the industry. There are several pricing charts on the site – academic writing, assignments, test-taking, admissions essays, and thesis/dissertation.
Students will pay a base price of $12.71 per page for any type of academic writing, no matter what the study level. What we find odd is that there is no differentiation in pricing between a basic essay and a complex case study or lab report. Prices do increase as the deadline shortens.
Dissertation work, no matter what the specifics, is $14.41/page – quite a bargain!
In terms of Wise Essays discounts, there is a 20% reduction for a first-time order, so long as the Wise Essay promo code is inserted in the order form field. Beyond that, there is a 25% discount for a second order and a permanent discount plan based upon a total number of pages ordered. SECURITY LEVEL AND HOW TO PROCEED WITH PAYMENT
Fortunately, WiseEssays.com has a privacy policy and tight security measures to keep customer information confidential and secure. Students are given an ID number and even their writers do not know their real names.
Payment methods are safe. Students can use any major bank card or PayPal, and the agency does use a third-party secured processor. No one should worry about providing their financial information.
WRITER EXPERTISE AND DELIVERY
All of the WiseEssays customers’ reviews state that the ordering process is smooth and that they receive their products on time.
The issues they have with the company lie in the quality of writing. And that quality is a direct result of the writers who produce those products.
- All of the on-site testimonials are very positive, which is to be expected.
- Off the WiseEssays site, however, the story is different. There are a number of complaints about quality of writing. College students state that their essays were typical of high school research and writing, not university-level writing that professors would expect
- Other customers pointed out grammar and word usage errors that foreign-speaking writers would use. The company says that all of its writers are native English-speakers, but this may not actually be true. We are not provided much other information about the writers.
- We read two of the samples published on the site – a two-page essay at the graduate level on healthcare for the elderly, and a two-page college level essay on American heroes. Both had decent introductions and a thesis statement of sorts. Beyond that, the structure was dis-jointed, there were a number of grammatical errors, and, in the case of the graduate level essay, reflected what a high school essay might be.
- There is a blog with tips for writing different types of essays. We read a few. Again, the grammatical and structural errors indicate foreign writers.
- We did contact customer support and asked questions about specific products. Amazingly, we were told that we could have a 200-page Ph.D. dissertation completed in seven days. This, of course, is ridiculous.
Overall, we were disappointed with the level of quality. While WiseEssays is certainly a legal company that does some things right, its products are not at a quality level that college students would want.

CONCLUSION
The WiseEssays.com website is well organized and well-written. And on the surface, it appears to be quite professional. Once we dug in, however, we did discover that the composition quality is poor and typical of ESL writers. This was quite disappointing. Overall, we are applying a WiseEssays.com rating of 2, on our 5-point scale. We recommend students look elsewhere.
