After 11 years in the business, Write My Paper has a relatively long history in the online academic writing industry. Because of this, there is a great deal of information about the company, found on its website, through WriteMyPaper reviews found throughout social media and review websites, Write My Paper testimonials, and through our own evaluation of the quality of a research paper we ordered and our experience with the customer support department of the company, during the ordering and delivery process.
Services and Features Available
Our WriteMyPaper review finds that this service offers academic writing products and services to students in undergraduate and graduate programs in English-speaking colleges and universities. The site advertises essay and paper writing in every possible academic field, along with a full range of other academic writing assignments – reviews, analyses, case studies, lab reports, homework assignments, test-taking, capstone projects such as theses and dissertations, admissions essays, resumes, and CV’s.
The other specific features include choice of writer level, plagiarism reports, and premium customer support services, all at additional fees, which we found quite pricey. The only free feature seems to be unlimited revisions if a customer is not happy with the delivered product.
Pricing System and Discounts
WritemyPaper prices are a bit confusing at first. The company advertises that essays begin for as little as $7 per page with a 14-day deadline and increase to as high as $55 per page for an admission essay with an 8-hour deadline. Admission essays actually cost more than Ph.D. dissertation work, which we found a bit odd. During the actual ordering process, however, the cheap prices go up, and it is unlikely that anyone get an essay for $7 a page. The research paper we ordered (8-page with 4 sources and a 7-day deadline) was priced at $113.99. When we added a request for a plagiarism report, however, the price jumped to $159.99. Adding any other extras would have made the pricing unmanageable. In the end, we dropped the request for the report and paid the basic price.
WriteMyPaper.net discounts are not provided anywhere on the site. There is, however, a statement that is customers sign up for the email subscription, they will receive weekly discount notification and receive a Write My Paper coupon code for those discounts. There were also no places to place Write My Paper promo codes into the order form and no specials for a first-time customer.
Security Level (and how to proceed with payment)
The company takes major credit cards as well as PayPal for payment methods. There is a secure third party processor in place, so we felt comfortable making payment through a personal PayPal account. Payment is expected at the time of order submission.
Writer Expertise and Delivery
We were unable to find any information about the company’s writers. What was very disturbing to us, however, was something that must be shared in this WriteMyPaper.net review. We found a footer page for individuals to apply to write for the service. We followed that link, and were asked to provide name, email address and a single sentence about why we should be hired. We then received an email from the company telling us to sign up for the newsletter to begin receiving a listing of current orders from which we could choose. We were appalled.
WriteMyPaper customer reviews are not favorable either. They complain about poor quality and lack of responsiveness on the part of their writers and the customer support department. There were no on-site customer testimonials to compare these with, but the paper we received was a poor writing quality as well. It was either “spun” with software or written by a foreigner.
While Write My Paper is legit, in terms of producing and delivering products, we cannot recommend it.
Additional Benefits
We were hard-pressed to find any additional benefits offered by this writing service. Other than the promise of free revisions and the guarantee of plagiarism-free writing, there is very little information on the site – no free pages, etc. We have to assume that there are none.
Customer support was virtually lacking during or experience with the company. When we telephoned, we were told to leave a message. When we attempted live chat, we were told to leave a message.
Conclusion
There is nothing positive that we can say about this company. For as long as it has been in business, it should be providing far more professional service, and it is obviously hiring writers it knows nothing about. We give a WriteMyPaper.com rating of “Very Poor.”
