Services and Features Available
Write My Paper is a site catering only to students in college or university, both undergraduate and graduate. As such, it offers every type of academic writing a student may be assigned from basic essays to graduate level thesis and dissertation projects. Students can select from any field of study, for they are all offered. In addition to academic products, the service also provides admissions essays, editing and proofreading, homework assignments, test-taking, and professional resumes, CV’s and cover letters.
In terms of features, there are quite a few, although all come with additional cost. Students may select the level of writing from basic to premium, a VIP customer service, and a plagiarism report. As stated, these items add a significant amount to the cost of the product, and do seem a bit pricey. A plagiarism report, for example adds an initial $10 fee, plus an additional $1 for every page. At other places on its site, the company advertises a free plagiarism report, which is obviously not true.
Pricing System and Discounts
There is a place to calculate an estimated cost for a product, but the final cost comes once the details of the order are given by the customer. WriteMyPapers prices fall within the high average range. The research paper we ordered was 8 pages, with a 7-day deadline and the requirement of 4 journal resources. It was priced at $160.00, but new customers are given WriteMyPapers.org discounts of 10%, so the final price was $144.00.
In addition to the new customer discount, for which there is a WriteMyPapers promo code, there are other discounts based upon the total cost of an individual order. If the order is over $500, a 5% discount is provided; if the order is over $1000, a 10% discount applies. We did not find any other offers or a WriteMyPapers coupon code for any other offers.
Security Level (and how to proceed with payment)
We were able to verify that the company uses a secure third-party processor for payments. Customers can use major credit cards or PayPal to make their payments, which are due at the time of order submission. Financial information is protected, so customer should not be nervous about providing their card information.
Writer Expertise and Delivery
We were unable to find much information about the writers on the website. There is a link to “Writers,” but when we accessed it, we were only give information on the numbers of writers in each academic field. Even that was incomplete, as there were no writers listed for fields such as science or math. And the company boasts 1000+ writers in law, which we find very hard to believe. The rest of the page is filled with customer testimonials.
WriteMyPapers customers’ reviews that we found elsewhere on the Internet were quite mixed. While most indicated they received their products on time, many said that they had to request revisions because writing quality was poor or instructions not followed. Our experience with quality was similar.
Another gauge of writer expertise is the sample writings published on the site. We accessed several of them, and were quite disappointed. These are essays of three paragraphs with perhaps a sentence or two of conclusion. There were opinions without factual data to back up those opinions; the subject matter was quite thin (e.g. personal advice to a boy going on his first date – wear perfume!); and there were no samples of any other type of writing except essays. The quality of writing would be appropriate for middle or high school students.
We can state that Write My Papers is legit; however, we believe that the writing level of products is more suited to high school students.
Additional Benefits
There are free revisions, title pages and bibliographies. However, customers are asked to pay extra for tables of contents, plagiarism reports, and for editing. If the writers are so advanced, why would editing be needed?
Conclusion
Based upon WriteMyPapers reviews from customers, our own experience with Write My Papers, we find that quality and service do not match the prices charged. We therefor provide a WriteMyPapers.org rating of “Fair.”
